Serene and clean recreational park for family or solo events. A lot of parking space available if you drive. A good place to take a walk, a ride with a bike or just relax with family. Flew my drone in the area and I had no problems, so you can too. Don’t restrict yourself to just one section, there are at least three huge parks including a baseball pitch and a football area.

Such a pleasant surprise to discover this park with its trails, trees and turnips! Well, to be honest I don't know if there are any turnips, but once I got started with the alliterative T's I felt like I had to see it through. I didn't see any turnips, but again, I have to confess that I'm not sure I'd know what a turnip plant looks like. In fact, I'm positive that without googling I wouldn't be able to identify one. This review is going rather poorly isn't it? Sorry. Anyway, I took some pictures so please just enjoy those and I'll leave it at that. Tschüss!

We had a great time exploring this park. We visited the playground and it was a fun and hopping place! All the pavilions were filled with parties and fun! We enjoyed the playground equipment and my kiddo had a fantastic time.

Fairland has some awesome trails for both walking and biking. Many loops to go around. The trails are shared with bikers and hikers/walkers, so it's nice to look out for any ped if you're on a bike. The bike trails are fun for all levels of riders. Love the skills pit and all the wooden features they have there.

Closest place for a good mountain bike ride. There's 9+ miles of single-track, you just have to know how to connect it. There's also a paved path, playgrounds, picnic tables, soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball and roller skating hockey fields. The new aaded features in the skills park is going to be insane! Fairland will definitely be a must visit park once it's completed.

Such a beautiful park with awesome trails! My only gripes: I did not see a single trash bin along the trails we traveled (wouldn't have been an issue but I had to pick up after my 4 legged buddies and ended up having to carry the poop bag the whole way), some trail markers are missing signs so it's difficult to ensure you're on the right trail (also ended up lost for about an hour -ironically b4 we got lost we ran into all kinds of people, but they all disappeared the minute we needed directions, and my phone was at 5% lol). If you are new here I would recommend staying on the paved trails. We wound up on the viper trail, and while very scenic, it is also VERY rugged. I plan to take my buddies back, but we'll be better prepared. This is definitely a park worth revisiting! Fyi- if you come in at the old gunpowder and greencastle rd entrance there is a nice short walk you can do around a pond.

Still didn't explore other areas but the Athletic fields are in very good maintenance and safe for children's sport activities.
